Dogs of all shapes and sizes seem to love chasing birds. But they would have no idea what to do if they caught one. Just like an “Ox-Zy Bird-Dog,” he has the desire, but maybe lacks the know-how. He’s not exactly positive as to his exact job. He understands the concept of catching or retrieving game birds. But his mind wanders at times with thoughts of flight. He knows he’s a dog…but what if he could fly?

Half bird…half dog…what a perfect combination. A little running…a little flying…it couldn’t be better! But let’s not get into what he would say…”woof-woof” or “tweet-tweet” or maybe “woof-tweet” or is it “tweet-woof.” Oh, this could drive you crazy!

All we can say is that our Bird-Dog is a humorous look at what man’s best friend may be thinking about when he sees a flock of our fine feathered friends fly by on a beautiful summer day. He just might want to join them in flight instead of catching them…or maybe not…

Picture a dog flying…small dogs might have a chance. Big guys such as golden retrievers, collies, even large poodles might require a bit more lift to become airborne.

But isn’t it a wonderful dilemma! “What if” is a venture into possibilities. At least in a dog’s mind. We won’t even think about the possibility of a bird wanting to be a dog. Far too complex for this simple website. But stay tuned…you never know…
